HalloBashes

On Friday we had a Halloween bash this year and it was tons of fun.  I took Friday off of work and we recruited Grandma and Grandpa to come up for the day to play with the kids while we got ready to party down.

We had around 50 people there!  Between family, neighbors, and church friends it was cool to have everyone in one spot.  We did some of the favorite things we’ve done at parties in the past including wax-sealed invites, whipped cream pie worm find, feeling box with skin fingers and brains, and candy corn bingo.  As normal when hosting a party we were running around most of the night so our pictures are seriously lacking.  Anyone reading please post links if you have better ones!

On Saturday was my cousin Adam’s wedding.  It was beautiful and set at the turnip rose in newport beach.  Siena was a flower girl!  We had confidence she would do well, but you know it’s a gamble with those types of things.  She did great!  Her and cousin Aubrey just walked slowly down the aisle tossing flowers out of their baskets.  She sat up there the whole time and entertained herself by gathering flower pedals and tossing them off the steps and putting the basket on her head. 

The excuse for having a lack of pictures of this event is just that we have a 4 month old and 2 1/2 year old to take care of.  Is that excuse enough?

Siena and Aubrey spent most of the night under the table with glow sticks which was perfectly fine with all the parents.

Siena’s Music

Music has always been a pretty big part of our lives and I suppose some of it is bound to rub off on the kids.  It’s pretty cool to see Siena picking up with singing or playing songs.

Changing Tegan

Tegan loves being changed.  It’s the funniest thing to change her clothes or diaper and have her start just cracking up laughing.  Sometimes we’ll even take her over to change her clothes when she’s in a fussy mood.

We went back to the same pumpkin patch this year.  It was kind of fun to take some of the same photos.   They added tons of stuff this year and Siena had a blast running through the hay maze.
